Plot
Recently married Washington Post journalist Klein (Gere) 's wife is critically injured in a car accident, but before she dies draws a picture of a strange winged creature. Mysteriously transported to the West Virginia town of Point Pleasant Klein comes across much wackiness and many people with bizarre tales of a winged creature which seems to be associated with death. What is going on? Can Klein solve this conundrum? Will anyone believe him? A genuinely creepy movie that should appeal to a far wider range than just those who liked the X-Files.
