Plot

When Jack Bauer discovers his daughter Kimberly has snuck out of the house, a call from his office at the Counter Terrorist Unit is not what he really needs. A threat to a presidential candidate however must take priority while his wife Teri searches for their daughter. When Teri gets a call from one of Kimberely's friend's father and they head out to find their daughters, while Jack is given a key card that might connect CTU with the assasination attempt. When Jack becomes secretive, not wanting to reveal his fear of his daughter being kidnapped, one of his colleagues calls their boss, suggesting that Jack is replaced. Meanwhile Teri and Alan are still searching for Kim who has been taken to 'Ira Gaines'.
