Ex-pro quarterback Paul Crewe, residing in the local state prison, is coerced into putting together a football team by the warden, who wants to see his prison guard team win the national championship, but, though the match is supposed to be little more than a walk over for the guards, how can you truly persuade a dozen hardened, warden hating, criminals to lie down and take a beating? Mean Machine is leaner, meaner, harder and funnier than the recent remake starring Vinnie Jones, oh....and the cast can act.
