COMEDIE DE L'INNOCENCE (2000)
RAOUL RUIZ
Plot
Adriane's son, Camille, has just turned nine when he informs her that he wants to meet his 'Real' mother, confused and upset by his request Adriane nonetheless agrees, but she has little inkling of the battle of wills that awaits her. Isabella is the woman that Camille now lavishes his affection on, a woman who lost her own identically aged child in a drowning two years earlier. Comedie de l'Innocence is a mesmerisingly tense psychological thriller perfectly performed, and as always with Huppert, relentlessly intense.
