Britney Spears is Lucy, just your average high school lass, with an over bearing dad and a yearning ambition to become a musician. One night just before she is due to graduate the pressure becomes too much and she sets off on a road trip of discovery and hope with her two best friends. Crossroads is not a bad debut for the queen of pop in waiting, and though I'd be hard pressed to recommend it, that's probably got more to do with my embittered decrepitude than the watchability of this teen drama.
