Violet Heaney has died but with the arrival of her three daughters for the funeral her memory lives on, even if those memories are slightly selective, or on occasion down right delusional. Before You Go is a sweet natured comedy drama from the same director as Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine, and it deals with similar issues in a similar way, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
