Plot

Two men, Benigno and Marco, are drawn into each other's lives when they meet at a clinic where the women they love lie close to death. Alicia is a ballet student and the object of Benigno's increasingly obsessive affections, even though she has never actually laid eyes on him, Lydia is Marco's girlfriend and a bullfighter. As the two men empty their hearts to their two unhearing loves we are drawn into their worlds. At times unsettling, funny and always thoughtful this is Almodovar on top form.
