Plot

When Sam gets blown out on a D.C. talk show, Bartlet wants to hire the woman who showed him up. Ainsley Hayes gets hired with mixed reactions from the rest of the staff; after all she is a lifelong Republican. Thanksgiving comes around again this year and C.J. thinks everyone thinks she's dumb. The President has to continue the ludicrous tradition of pardoning a turkey, but C.J. has other plans after Sam and Tobey and Josh leave the turkeys in her office. The Prez also has to deal with boatloads of Chinese evangelical Christians seeking religious asylum.
