Plot

Four childhood friends are awarded special powers after an act of kindness towards an apparently retarded young boy. Now fully grown, the men find their abilities a hindrance rather than a help but a time of reckoning is about to take place and while on a hunting trip in the snow-bound woods hell's PR machine kicks into action. The Dreamcatcher is a highly entertaining slice of horror, sci-fi nonsense, the plots incoherent and the endings just plain foolish, but damn it's not short of overwrought tension.
