You're a razor sharp, ice cool, super slick conman, but the very nature of your game means that every now and then something happens that you just didn't make a contingency for. Through no fault of your own you now find yourself heavily in debt to a man who has no compunction about bringing your life to a premature conclusion, what do you do? You just up the odds, obviously. Confidence is a thriller in the vein of ‘The Sting' and 'The Grifters', and though inevitably lacking that film's class, it's nonetheless a slick, tight, pacey slice of entertainment.
