VISITOR Q (2001)
MIIKE TAKASHI
Plot
While making a documentary on the degeneration of Japanese youth, journalist Kiyoshi stumbles across both his daughter and an enigmatic young man named only Q'. Fascinated by the stranger Kiyoshi invites Q back to his home, a dysfunctional nightmare that the young man sees as a challenge to create sense from chaos. This being a Miike Takashi film life's lessons come fast and very hard, a story that drops its trousers and shoves its undercarriage into the face of social convention with obvious glee. Visitor Q is not for the faint hearted, but if your in the mood to be wierded out then this twisted little number should do the business admirably.
