A hugely entertaining comedy heist movie from the same era as The Pink Panther. Set beneath the Islamic spires of Istanbul, Topkapi is the museum which houses a priceless jewelled dagger and sensual Elizabeth, along with her suave lover, are the couple determined to make it their own. What the pair hadn't bargained on was the quality of their help and what at first seemed like a doable job begins to go increasingly pear shaped. Topkapi is a tense, funny and effortlessly stylish thriller.
