Plot

A beautiful young woman seeks advise from a psychiatrist to help with her failing marriage, but in her confusion wanders into the office of William Faber, a financial adviser. Lacking the courage, and indeed the desire, to admit to the woman that he is not a therapist, William finds himself increasingly drawn to this intimate stranger, and as their sessions continue an unusual relationship develops between the two. Intimate Strangers is from the same director as the excellent L'Homme Du Train. An often witty, perfectly performed romantic satire.
