Plot

A young matador is badly gored during his display of flamboyant bravado, and the anguished, angry bull dispatched swiftly to the slaughterhouse. The animal's dismembered body is wrapped, parcelled and posted to various and seemingly unrelated individuals, the various parts of the creature arriving at, or precipitating, moments of revelation for all the recipients. Carnages is a bold and original film, a cleverly interwoven drama that is darkly humorous, insightful and visually striking.
