Andrew "Large" Largeman is a young actor living in perpetual hope in the dream factory that is Los Angeles. Reluctantly forced to return to his home town in New Jersey and deeply unhappy about the inevitable confrontation with his father, Andrew is unexpectedly swept off his feet by an encounter with the kookey, but charming, life logic of Sam. 'Garden State' is a sweet, indie romantic comedy, written by, directed by and starring Zach Braff, and while it's going to be a little bit cute for some, this is a refreshingly offbeat tale nonetheless.
