IN YOUR HANDS (2004)
ANNETTE K OLESEN
Plot
Anna takes a post as prison chaplain in a womans ward, unaware of the momentous effect it will have on her previously cloistered life. Inside Anna meets Kate, a woman without faith but with a gift that defies secular logic. As the relationship grows between the two women so anger and resentment builds within the ward and events move inevitably towards a shattering denouement. In Your Hands is the latest in a long line of Dogme films and proves that the concept that originally inspired the manifesto is very much alive and kicking; Powerful, questioning, as tense as any thriller and performed with hypnotic intensity.
