Plot

Michael is a career soldier replete with loving wife and two young children, but while on a UN peacekeeping mission he is lost in action and swiftly presumed dead. Into the shattered world of Michael's family wanders Jannik, his brother and a man whose life is the quintessential opposite of Michael's ordered existence. At first together in their grief Michael's wife, Sarah and Jannik's relationship gradually progresses beyond platonic need, but their new born love is on the cusp of receiving a harsh and guilty awakening. Brothers is an immensely powerful drama with intense performances from the three leads, a dark yet often tender examination of the human psyche.
