Plot

Erik is not so much bad as fiercely independent and at constant odds with authority so he's expelled, his desperate parents enrolling him in an exclusive and Draconian boarding school, a punishment Erik feels he deserves. Determined to make amends, Erik shows nothing but silent defiance to his brutal new overseers, but, as the battle of wills with his nemesis, the school captain, reaches breaking point, Erik decides to make a stand not merely for himself, but for all those who have felt the institution's wrath. 'Evil' takes a fairly familiar tale and weaves an immensely powerful and thought provoking story from it.
