Plot

Hwei-Lan Gao, a 48 year old widow, is rudely ejected from the family home when her father discovers she's pregnant. In desperation Hwei-Lan seeks refuge with her grown up daughter, Wil; but Wil is less than keen to have her pregnant mum kipping in her one bedroom flat, particularly when she's just met the beautiful Viv. Saving Face is a good natured comedy drama that gently subverts the mother daughter relationship in the worthy cause of love.
