1.9 – A legendary jazz musician with ALS is admitted under a DNR order, but House disagrees with the diagnosis and treats him – a decision that shocks and angers the other members of his team – but is it the best thing for the patient? 1.10 – House has his hands full when two of his team disagree on the diagnosis of an uncooperative homeless woman with multiple symptoms but no medical history and he has to baby-sit two medical students. 1.11 – House picks a bad week to try and function without his pain meds when a young man is admitted with continuous and mysterious blood-loss following a car accident. 1. 12 – The career and life of a major league baseball player is in the teams hands but his illness could also have life-changing implications for his unborn child. Meanwhile, some of the team have dates to go on – including House!
