Christopher Anderson is a man on a mission, a huge American corporation has given him the responsibility of finding the British headquarters for a business school that will personify 21st century work ethic. Unfortunately for all involved, Christopher has plumped for a beautiful country mansion on the outskirts of London which houses a rare photographic collection cared for with restrained obsession by an eclectic mix of English eccentricity. Shooting The Past is a return to form for Poliakoff and while his canon of characters rarely change, this is an acutely observed and beautifully performed piece of drama.
