Plot

Johnny Jackson, a sleazy talent agent, who hangs around a 1950s Soho of strip clubs and clip joints, discovers teenager Bert Rudge singing in a coffee house. Johnny starts him on the road to stardom, despite Bert's reluctance, but the one sided deal they agree soon causes their partnership to collapse.
