Old homeless San Francisco hippy finds fame, but not fortune, by establishing relationships with Mingus, Connor, Sophie, Picasso and the rest of a flock of feral parrots. In so doing he brings not just them and their varying relationships, but urban, and all animals generally, including us, into focus. And aren't those colours just awesome? Parrots - my hearties!
