A bizarre and comic observation of the small population of a remote swamp town in the state of Florida. 'Gator grunting, turkey hunting, people with multiple brains, sand-growing and the true meaning of life are covered by the eccentric (looney) inhabitants, who populate a surreal world that's as far removed as the mind can imagine from the gleaming towers of Miami. Errol Morris has created a hypnotic and dryly witty glimpse into a world few of us have the opportunity or, indeed, choose to see.
