Jack lives on an almost deserted island with his 16 year old daughter Rose and in this lonely but beautiful environment they have become intensely close. The arrival of Jack's girlfriend and her two sons however sends Rosie into an emotional tail spin, ill equipped as she is to deal with the new company and more importantly the threat to her exclusive relationship with her father. The Ballad Of Jack And Rose is an intense, haunting and original coming of age drama, with two hypnotic and driven central performances.
