With liberal helpings of humour (including a great reference to the inimitable American Werewolf), John Landis's entry tells the story of a washed up small town detective Dwight Faraday, demoted to investigating animal attacks who spends most of his working day sat at his desk or dealing with disgruntled pet owners until a series of bodies are found. Bodies that appear to have been literally trampled into mince meat.
