Crockett and Tubbs are two super-cool, super-tough undercover Miami cops, but their latest gig takes them so deep into the world of major drug-trafficking that it becomes increasingly difficult to find a way out in anything other than a coffin. Michael Mann returns to his iconic TV series and makes a smooth, pacey, big screen retread, where two dimensional characters and a barely present storyline mercifully take a back seat to the slick action.
