Plot

The writer and director of Blair Witch takes us down to the woods again but this time the forest is full of extra-terrestrials; green, unfriendly, mind-bending aliens that like nothing more than abducting unsuspecting locals and performing hideous experiments on them... until four men decide to take revenge. While much more mainstream than his first feature, Altered is destined to sink without a trace. There are some high points - lots of gooey gore and unraveling intestines to be more precise - but there's just too much footage of a man in a rubber suit for this to be scary.
