Story has been wandering the dark passageways beneath the swimming pool of a non-descript apartment block, attempting to evade roaming monsters and return to her alternative universe, but she needs a guardian from our world and hopes that she has found it in the form of unprepossessing Cleveland Heep. 'Lady in The Water' is the latest spooky mystery from M Night Shyamalan (he of ‘Sixth Sense'), slow and overwrought, but not without atmosphere.
