Plot

Ricky Bobby isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but, damn, he's the finest NASCAR driver on the circuit, that is until debonair French Formula One driver Jean Girard enters the scene. From the crazy loons behind 40 year old Virgin' and Anchor Man' comes another very silly, slightly surreal Will Ferrell vehicle. Slyly, knowingly cretinous, Talladega Nights just gets funnier the longer you stay with it, winning you over through sheer attrition. Stupid?....yessirreee. Shake and bake' my friend, shake and bake'.
