Holidaymakers arriving in a Club Med camp on the Ivory Coast are determined to forget their everyday life. Games, competitions, outings, bathing and sunburn accompany a continual succession of casual affairs. From the early career of director Patrice Leconte, when he was with the café theatre group Splendid, 'Les Bronzes' is a classy, cynical and intelligent human drama/Jacques Tati with a sex life. Enjoyable.
