Plot

A refugee family is given an allotment plot to help rehabilitate their traumatized father, but the locals are increasingly annoyed by the influx of immigrants and led by one particularly bigoted member of the community they attempt to make the new residences lives untenable. Being a British comedy drama this is a gentle, ultimately life affirming tale; unremarkable and undemanding but nicely played and with a who's who of British acting talent.
