Six women seek love marriage and companionship in this sweet-natured tale set round a beauty salon in Beirut. Beautiful young Nisrine is engaged to headstrong Bassam, but is worried about not being the virgin she's supposed to be. Divorced, middle-aged, part-time model Jamale fears the process of ageing. Quiet Rima seems more attracted by other girls, particularly Siham, a client who flirts with her. Thirtysomething Layale is having an affair with a married man, but has caught the eye of the good looking local bobby. Rose is an ageing seamstress, with an elderly admirer, who looks after old and slightly demented, but wisecracking, Lili.
