Light Yagami is an ace student who finds the Death Note, a book dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god named Ryuk. Any human whose name is written within the pages dies, and Light decides to use its power to rid the world of evil. Soon however detective ‘L' is hot on his trail and as the two face off in a battle of wits and will the line becomes drawn as to which of them is ‘good' and which ‘evil'.
