Plot
DCI Red Metcalfe is a cerebral man troubled by his own dark past and obsessed with solving a string of murders across London. A serial killer has set out to kill twelve men with the same names as the Apostles, in the same way that the Apostles were killed, eg St Bartholomew being flayed alive and St Peter crucified head down. The killer does this because he believes himself a second Messiah.
