Recently widowed Arvilla is at a crossroads; her stepdaughter Francine has threatened to sell Arvilla's Idaho home unless she agrees to inter her late husband's ashes with his first wife, even though he had wished them scattered to the seas. That the story becomes a road trip is pretty tenuous, but the great cast makes this a sweet natured, post menopausal ‘Thelma and Louise'-esque journey of discovery that is both poignant and upbeat.
