Plot

Mo has a magical gift which enables him to bring characters out of books when he reads from their pages. One night he brings out three characters from Inkheart, a story set in medieval times and filled with fantastical beings, amongst them; Capricorn and Basta, two villains, and Dustfinger, a fire-eater. Unfortunately for Mo the baddies discover how easy it is to succeed in the real world and so begins a battle between Mo, his daughter Meggie and the dastardly fictional characters to save themselves, their loved ones and life as we know it. An undemanding fantasy adventure in a similar vein to the superior ‘Stardust'.
