Two orphaned boys skip the dual fates of cruel Aunt Esther and boarding school by decamping to a picturesque Venice where they live on the streets and are forced to steal, before being adopted by The Thief Lord, a mysterious masked teen named Scipio, who runs a gang of child thieves from an old abandoned cinema. Dodging a private detective sent to catch them they must also deal with a beautiful magical treasure with the power to spin time itself!
