Successful, laid back, businessman Pietro is distraught by the death of his wife, but, determined to look after his 13-year-old daughter, he decides to run his business from a beach near her school. Here he bumps into a variety of different characters, whose antics and traits give the film its spice, and, though this is a story of bereavement, the film is never mawkish.
