Plot

A top notch documentary following an undercover team, who in a daring act of espionage, record the bloody annual slaughter of over 2,000 dolphins in Taiji National Park, Japan, by the local fishing community. This slaughter is commercially driven not only by the sale of cheap 'whale' meat to supermarkets, but the huge value of those taken alive for dolphinaria, a craze that, to his everlasting sadness, was introduced by current activist, project instigator and once trainer of dolphins for the '60s TV show 'Flipper' Richard O'Barry.
