Having just graduated from high school and very much looking forward to a well deserved summer holiday before college, James is distraught to discover that his parents no longer have the money to fund any of this. Suddenly just as desperate as everyone else in his small town, he takes the only summer job he can get: at an amusement park. Unbeknownst to James, this job will provide him with an exciting and invaluable education about life and love, and just about anything else you can't learn at school. 'Adventureland' is an enjoyably sarcastic coming of age American Indie with some genuinely great comic moments.
