16-year-old Darren goes with his mate Steve to a circus show, but, having been intrigued by a Mr Crepsley performing stunts with a poisonous spider, he finds himself drawn into an underworld of freaks and vampires, including an old war between Vampires who do not kill their victims and those that do. An energetic post-Harry Potter teen movie adapted from the popular book series ‘The Saga of Darren Shan' that should be the first of many.
