Expectant, anal, first-time father Peter Highman is heading home to be at his wife’s side in plenty of time, but what Peter hasn’t prepared for is the arrival of aspiring actor and delusional comi/tragic nightmare, Ethan Tremblay, who burrows into Peter’s ordered world like a ravenous tick and effortlessly rips it asunder. Due date is a painful and occasionally painfully funny road movie very much in the same vein as ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ , from the director of ‘Hangover', Todd Philips.
