Charlyne Yi embarks on a quest across America for the one subject she doesn’t understand: Love. As she and her friend, director Nicholas Jasenovec, search for answers and advice from an eclectic array of friends and acquaintances, including scientists, bikers, romance novelists, and children. Combining elements of storytelling, reality and fantasy, Paper Heart brings a fresh, indie perspective to the modern romance; though to some it might appear naive and self-consciously cynical.
