Plot

Johnny Marco is a Hollywood actor stumbling through a life of excess at the legendary Chateau Marmont Hotel; he has a Ferrari to drive around in, and a constant stream of girls and pills to stay in with. Comfortably numbed, Johnny cruises along aimlessly. Following an unexpected visit from his 11-year-old daughter, Cleo, Johnny is forced to face up to the meaningless drift of his life and contemplate a fundamental shift in his journey. ‘Somewhere’ is the latest film from Sophia Coppola and a nicely contemplative follow on from ‘Lost In Translation’.
