Five years in the making, 'Benda Bilili' follows a group of young street musicians from Kinshasa, Congo as they struggle to form a band. Four of the children are paraplegics, who get around in Mad Max style customized wheelchairs, and the other three are homeless street kids, whose star is Roger Landau, a teenage prodigy who plays on a single string guitar fashioned from a tin can. 'Benda Bilili' is a delightfully life affirming tale, both striking and touching.
