When an underwater cave diving team are forced further into the infinite seeming caverns by a tropical storm, they must fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic as they search for an escape route to the sea. 'Sanctum' is a big budget, slightly turgid, action drama that dubiously makes claims to being based on a true story in the same way as nipping round the corner to the local shops could be described as an ‘epic journey’.
