John Bennett is a grown man who must, at the insistence of his long suffering girlfriend, deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish, and has refused to leave his side ever since. Directed, written and voiced by ‘Family Guy’ creator Seth Macfarlane, ‘Ted’ is at heart a good natured comedy drama that focuses a bit uncomfortably on modern mans’ reticence about getting his emotional/responsible s*!t together. Likeable and occasionally very funny.
