‘New Year's Eve’ celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, with a series of star riven intertwining vignettes set in the ‘Big Apple’. Pretty generic schmaltz if you’re not this film’s demographic, probably a whole heap better if you are.
