Plot

Existing in a ravaged, dystopian future Douglas Quaid, a factory worker, wants to escape the banality of his world and decides to visit ‘Rekall’, a company that can make your fantasies seem reality; But all does not go to plan when Douglas discovers he really is a superspy and the future of humanity rests in his deeply confused hands. How many times does someone get to say ‘the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it was a rather more sophisticated and intelligent film’? Well, I believe I have now popped that cherry. This adaptation of Philip K Dick’s novella is still entertaining enough but it’s a straight no-nonsense action flick. Message free eye candy.
